Howard Mann: Chairman/ President
The visionary and driving force behind DC NetCast, Howard has over 14 years of experience in various aspects of the entertainment and Internet industries. His experience began working with Nigel Best Management, where he was responsible for media, publicity, and tour coordination for the popular Canadian band Bare Naked Ladies. Howard left music in the early 90’s to pursue various online business activities.
Over the last several years, Howard has concentrated on developing, consulting and launching several Internet related initiatives. These have included building proprietary state-of-the-art, shockwave-based casino software, and consulting on numerous projects related to streaming media. More recently, Howard's extensive network of contacts within the entertainment industry, coupled with his Internet expertise has resulted in the conception and creation of several comedy related and worldwide syndicated television products that include Carmen Electra’s Naked Women’s Wrestling League (NWWL).
James E. Tykoliz: CIO (Chief Information Officer)
Jim has over 25 years of sales and market research experience consisting of responsibilities in planning, development and implementation of data driven initiatives, strategies, communications and public relations. Working with companies ranging from new business start-ups to Fortune 500 giants, Jim’s analytical and decision-making skills help achieve their long-term objectives.
Working directly with Howard for over 8 years, Jim brings his entrepreneurial spirit and analytical skills to their consulting projects, including online multi-media and video streaming applications, and specific expertise in executing online sales and marketing initiatives that are results oriented.
Jim also co-founded 121 Ventures Inc. with Howard, a media development, distribution and content delivery company. 121 Ventures create a series of unique and proprietary programs and distribute them through television media, DVD, mobile and other various mediums into 38 international markets worldwide.
Joe Ciupik: Director
Joseph (Joe) Ciupik is the Founder and President of Digital Requests, Inc. Joe has twenty-two years of professional television and video experience producing international programming for ESPN, iNDEMAND, DirecTV, EchoStar as well as syndication. From the very beginning of his career, Joe has demonstrated an unbridled passion for the industry. That passion has translated into wide array of experience in literally every facet of video production from live event coordination to post-production to distribution. Joe also has experience in graphic design, web design, and business management.
Bruce Croxon: Director
Bruce Croxon is the ex Chairman and CEO of Lavalife Inc., a leading provider of online and IVR-based interactive personals services.
Bruce was one of the four founders of Interactive Media Group (IMG), later Lavalife Inc., and now Lavalife Corp. following its sale to Vertrue Inc. in 2004. The company's first business was an interactive voice response (IVR) based marketing service called Phoneworks which provided interactive marketing programs to top 100 companies in Canada. The company entered the telephone based classified ads business in 1987, adding a web-based service in 1997. The company re-branded its product offerings and has been known as Lavalife since late 2001. Both services were the first of their kind in North America with Lavalife continuing on today as of one the global leaders in its category.
Aside from previous stints as CEO, Mr. Croxon has at various times over the past 16 years held the roles of Executive Chairman, Director of New Business Ventures, and Director of Marketing. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario, London, Canada.
